that could be of low resolution. I usually work on either 300dpi or 600dpi (yes,
and large pic too, 1000 to 2000px size or more), and depending which line style
suit that particular pic (thick or thin lineart), I'll use 3px to 6px hard
brush. And never had problem pixelated like that. printed fine too. for screen
view, of course I'll bring the dpi down to either 150dpi or 72dpi, or even
reduce the image down too (ie. from 1000px width to 500px width)
its not about who does better. its more about... which one brings more capital
gain. If people start recognizing anime, won't the America or european people
will try to get some slice of it? and if Japan wants to branch out to west side,
then won't they try to do what attract westerner?

But they never really get mad or something. if they mad, it'll be more likely
that I "waste" too much time on it. Replace "anime/manga"

DVDs or video games, and if you waste too much money on it, won't they get angry

"anime" art (which.. the majority of arts in Minitokyo), then....

was a gap, where I kinda "stop" drawing. but since I found this good
site, plus minitokyo, I've been doing it a lot again =)

Hi, currently not so happy. I feel that I've been ignored all this time. I know
that it's holiday season, and maybe most moderators away on holiday as well, but
I've check the thread back every now and then, and find that everyone else
question has been answered except mine. If one can not answer a member question,
and perhaps awaiting other mod to answer it, why can't that mod say something,
ie. "hi, I've read your question/complain/suggestion etc, but I have to
discuss/ask other mod or still working on the solution. We'll try to get to you
asap", so that particular member feels acknowledge. Just like it
retail/food industry, where the shop assistance says "I'll be right with
you".
Now.. hope this one is not being ignored
again. :/
still can't view all the images from Minitokyo, either using Firefoz, IE or
Safari. or are all the images in Minitokyo somehow coded only for PC? then in
that case, that's kinda explained why no pictures show up using Mac.

2. Although it looks simple, I did not use any scan or anything, I drew it from
sketch, even outlined in using computer, up to the finish stage. So It does look
simple, but the process is not (unless I use scan and just chuck in the
background, now... that is effortless).
3. IF you think this is not up to PAR, then I would be greatfull if you could
suggest me what do I have to add to this piece so that it's in the best state to
be publish in the main gallery.
4. when you (or any moderator) deleted a submittion, I really hope (and will
appreciate more) if you guys give us the EXACT reason, and not just copy and
paste using the general refusal comment (especially the automated reply)
